During today’s propaganda conference, Trump improvisationally ruminated out loud about various unproven, dangerous, and stupid medical theories on how to combat the Coronavirus, leaving the medical professionals who shared the stage with him confused. The medical professionals attempted to disagree with Trump while not offending Trump’s frail ego. The whole ordeal was incredibly awkward and embarrassing.
Trump on Disinfectant:
During the conference Trump said the following words, “So, supposing we hit the body with a tremendous, ugh, ultraviolet, or powerful light, and it hasn’t been checked, but your going to test it, and supposing you brought the light inside the body, or through the skin, or some other way, and I think you said you will test it too, and that sounds interesting, and then I see the disinfectant, and its knocks it out in one minute, and can we do something like that, by injection, inside or almost a cleaning, as you see, it gets in the lungs and does a tremendous number, so it will be interesting to check that, so for that you you will need to use medical doctors with, but sounds interesting to me, but the whole concept of light and the way it goes and kills it in one minute is pretty powerful.”

The Meaning Of Porous:
Bill Bryan, the acting undersecretary of science and technology for the Department of Homeland Security explained to the press it would be “irresponsible” to suggest to the American people that the Coronavirus could not survive the summer heat, although UV Rays from the sun could kill the virus if found on metallic surfaces. Bryan went on to explain it would not kill what is underneath the metallic surfaces, and would be slower to kill the virus on porous surfaces. Trump seemed confused by the word porous.

Light Does Not Cure The Coronavirus
Based on the ability of UV rays to kill the Coronavirus on certain surfaces, Trump believed that “light” was a cure for the virus. Dr. Deborah Birx explained light is not a cure. Trump said the following words:
“There has been a rumor, a very nice rumor, that you go outside in the sun and you have heat, and it does affect other viruses, but now we get it from one of the great laboratories in the world, I have to say, that covers alot more territory than just this, this is probably an easy thing for you relatively speaking, I would like you to speak to the medical doctors to see if there is a way to apply light and heat to cure, you know, if you could, maybe you can, maybe you can’t. Again, I say, maybe you can, maybe you can’t. I’m not a doctor. But I’m like a person who has a good, you know what.” Dr. Birx explained in response to Trump asking her if she had ever heard of this that she didn’t and she never heard of light as a treatment.
