Hillary Clinton, former Secretary of State and 2016 Democratic presidential nominee will endorse Joe Biden for president Tuesday afternoon, reports the New York Times.
Former Vice President Biden teased the announcement this morning, retweeting Clinton with the reply, “(I’m with her.)”
Hillary Clinton infamously lost her hard-fought campaign against President Trump in 2016, but the experience may allow her to provide invaluable insight on how to best take on Trump as Biden’s campaign switches its focus to the general election. Biden has recently consolidated the Democratic establishment behind his campaign, securing endorsements from the likes of Barack Obama, Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren.
The announcement is expected to take place during a virtual town hall at 3PM ET.
